First Transnational Meeting

The transnational project meeting has gone well, the partners establishing a great ground for communication and exchanging research results and good practices. The discussions were hosted by Red Deporte in Torrelodones and were a great chance to communicate and to get organised for achieving the goals and objectives of this project. With such hardworking and determined organisations, that also come from a diverse array of countries, the project is set for succeeding its main focus, positively influencing the diverse European communities through sport activities.

Second Transnational Meeting

The partners of the PLAY project have reunited in Varna, Bulgaria in order to discuss the next steps that need to be taken and the progress that had been done up until now. During the fruitful discussions, we have established developing the official PLAY Manual by the end of this summer, as we have almost finished the research stage of childhood games. For this, we are going to create an Online Library/Offline Catalogue widely available on our official websites and presented in the languages of the official partners. We have also established the next steps that need to be taken in order to develop the training for sport coaches and national events dedicated to young people that will take place in Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Turkey.

Last Transnational Meeting

We were delighted to meet each other again and discuss the results of our project during the last transnational meeting. We held the meeting at the City Hall of District 3 in Bucharest, ticking off all the meeting objectives to establish what had been done and what steps we need to take in order to finish everything smoothly:

  • We presented the manual of our project – PLAY, Traditional Sport Games Catalogue. During the meeting we established uploading the online version of the manual on our soon to be platform in order for people to have a permanently available resource that they can use in professional or other general settings.

  • We discussed about the progress report and the steps that need to be taken from now on

  • We reviewed the activities of both the Learning Phase (the training dedicated to sport teachers), as well as of the Playing Phase (the local activities with children)

  • We evaluated the training and the local activities outcomes

  • We discussed with Romanian sport coaches and with city hall representatives about the results of our project

  • We discussed the final conclusions and the plan for follow-up

By the end of the fruitful conversations, in the evening the partners enjoyed Bucharest Christmas Market.
